WriteItNow
- novel writing software
There's a free downloadable demo available for this software, and it
sounds like a lot of fun. I have some re-writes to do on my own novel,
and I'm hoping to give this software a try. This is some of the stuff
it can do:
* Write and store complete novels
* Keep background details of characters, events, locations and ideas
* Display charts of events and relationships
* Generate characters, names and ideas
* Record all manuscript submissions
* 100,000 word spelling checker + 150,000 word thesaurus
MyNovel
- novel writing software
This software also has a free downloadable demo. It includes a full
word processor and spellchecker, but also features templates / plots
/ and successful formulas for you to follow. MyNovel includes a unique
spider-diagramming system where you can plan your novel visually - diagramming
the relationships between people, places, and objects; and diagramming
the chronology of events that will build the skeleton of your story.
You can diagram family trees, love triangles, parallel plot developments
and so on.

"ScriptMaker" is not a template but a free-standing executable
application for Windows. There are two versions of it available. One
is 30-day trialware, the other is completely free.
